You can change your job-seeking status anytime — no need to fully reset your account.

🎯 Choose your status

Go to Profile → Job Seeking Status, and select:

  • Actively looking → You’ll appear higher in search and get full job alerts.
  • Open to offers → Lower visibility, but still visible to select employers.
  • Not currently looking → Hide from all employer search results and turn off job alerts.

Your status helps the AI personalize:

  • Job recommendations
  • Notification types

Can employers see my job status?

Yes, but only if they’re verified employers. “Not looking” hides you entirely.
